Consultation
When you first contact us, we’ll ask about your project’s scope, timeline, lot location, and budget. Then, we’ll schedule a consultation at a time that works for you.
During the consultation, we’ll dive deeper into your project and explore the possibilities. We can meet in person at our office, your home, or your lot to discuss feasibility and practical details.
Design Process
After our consultation, we’ll prepare a Pre-Construction Agreement. Within a few weeks, we’ll create a front elevation and floor plans.
We’re skilled at staying within your budget. If the lot presents challenges, we’ll arrange preliminary site engineering to help guide the design. Based on this, we’ll provide fixed pricing and specifications tailored to your lifestyle. The cost for this phase depends on the size of the home.
You’ll have the chance to be deeply involved in the design process and in selecting materials, but if you prefer, our in-house designer can take care of most decisions for you.
The design process typically takes a few weeks, but it depends on the complexity of the project and your availability for meetings.
Construction Time
Once we've made all the decisions, we'll prepare a Construction Agreement. You'll also receive a payment schedule that outlines payments tied to construction milestones and major component deliveries.
Completion time can be affected by things like permit approvals and utility companies. Generally, we tell customers to expect completion 12 months after purchasing a lot, with actual construction taking about 6-8 months after permits are obtained.
We have our own team of carpenters, excavators, masons, plumbers, electricians, and landscapers. Before construction starts, we'll provide a detailed timeline so you know what to expect at each stage.
